►Activate your student email account
- Login to your EKUDirect Account
- Click on Personal Information
- Click on Activate EKU Student Email Account
- Your username and password will be generated
- All official email communication will be sent to your EKU email address

- Enter your username (example: john_smith)
- Enter your email password
If you have forgotten your password, call Help Desk at 859.622.3000 to reset password.
►Find email addresses
- Use "Global Address List" to find email address of any EKU student
- Use "A to Z" index or people search (located in the top right corner of the EKU homepage) to find any EKU faculty or staff
►Microsoft Office Suite
All EKU students have the ability to create word documents, spread sheets, and presentations with the Microsoft Office Suite which includes:
- Word
- Powerpoint
- Excel
- Onenote
How to access Microsoft Office Suite:
- Click "Office" at the top of your email
- Select the program you wish to use
- Name the document
- Share with:
leave this "just me" to keep private
select "change" to share with other EKU students using their email addresses
- Select "save" to begin working in the program you selected
- When you finish and save the document it will save to your Skydrive
