Welcome to Eastern Kentucky University (EKU)! EKU IT provides a collection of technology resources that provide everything from email to resources to help with multimedia projects, coursework, and to enhance all your learning.
If you want to see the special offers from Dell for EKU students, use your email username (the part before the @ sign) and email password to login here and go down to 'Personal Purchases-Students, Faculty, and Staff' for the link and Member ID: IT Purchasing

Access to the Internet and University network through wired and Wi-Fi connections.
Your EKU ID (username and password) give you access to many online tools and services offered by the University.
New in Fall 2018 all EKU students will be able to opt-in to use two-factor authentication on their accounts. It requires multiple authentication methods in order to grant access to your account. First your username and password, second a notification to your smartphone, a call, an email, or an app! For all students who have compromised accounts after August 1, 2018, this is automatically enabled for email, cloud accounts, and apps. During the fall 2018 students will be able to opt-in as early adopters. In summer 2019, it will be enabled on ALL EKU student email accounts!
While it's convenient to save papers to your laptop or a USB drive, your files are safer if you also save them to your Google account (or OneDrive but it has limits to storage size). Your Google Drive account provides unlimited personal file storage with your EKU email account that is accessible from anywhere. Your files are also backed up so you can restore them--a lifesaver when a file disappears before a paper is due!
With technology tools, you can create or learn in face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses. See the IT Geeks for assistance.
Use University-support technologies to communicate with large audiences, small groups, or individuals.
EKU's Cloud Printing service allows users to print from their computers to multifunction printers located in computer labs, libraries, and residence hall locations.
With centrally-supported University software services, you can access and obtain software for free while an EKU student.
The IT Geeks have various technology available for a 1-week checkout in their Library Atrium location plus some technology available for checkout in both locations for in-lab use only.
