Technology and Tools

The primary tools you'll use are Blackboard, Blackboard Collaborate, and other options like Zoom or Google Meet.  Many students are already familiar with blackboard, EKU's learning management system (LMS).  Collaborate is a web conferencing system included within Blackboard.  Zoom and Google Meet are separate web conferencing system that some departments may use instead of or with online courses or meetings.

Geek Laptop Checkout

We will be offering EKU students only laptop and table checkouts with a valid EKU picture ID on the days/times listed below.  These will be due on Thursday, May 7, 2020,  between the hours of 1-3 p.m. in the same checkout location.  

Students are expected to enter the Geek Crabbe Library Atrium desk area using the outside doors only!  Please keep your distance and don't form groups.

• Wednesday, March 25, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
