Blackboard Course Banner Images

You can make a very nice banner graphic or "header" for your course, to display at the top of the Announcements page. NOTE: If this image isn't formatted correctly, it will not display correctly if a user views their courses in the Blackboard tile view. 
 

Option 1: Select an EKU-related background (link 1) for your image and then customize it with information such as your course title, CRN, etc.

Option 2: Create a custom logo from "scratch"  that works for your Announcements page banner.  The image must have the dimensions of 1200 pixels wide and 300-500 pixels high to look good on the course main page.

To upload this custom banner:

• Go back to your Blackboard site and click Customization > Teaching Style. When the page changes, look for the fourth section, Select Banner.
• Click Browse My Computer, locate the file you saved, and double-click to select it. Click Submit to complete the upload.
• Along the top of the window, click the link that names your course, to return to the "front page" and observe your new banner.
