EKU Wireless
Students
eku_secure. The recommended, encrypted Wi-Fi network for anyone with an EKU email username and password.
Employees
eku_secure The recommended, encrypted Wi-Fi network for anyone with an EKU email username and password.
Guests
EKU_GUEST. This network allows access to a segregated portion of EKU’s wireless network and is limited access. No username or password is required. The EKU_GUEST network is insecure (open and unencrypted) and only meant as a courtesy option for guest on campus.
EKU Wired (Residential Students-ResNet)
The residential network (ResNet) is available to on-campus students at EKU.
Virtual Private Network (VPN)
Virtual Private Network (VPN) is a way to securely access a remote network. EKU VPN allows eligible individuals to access EKU resources from a non-EKU internet source as if they were directly connected to the campus network.
Cable TV
Classrooms
Many classrooms are equipped with cable TV but the use of faculty laptops may access news services online, such as NBC Learn.
Students
The cable in the residence halls is a service of Apogee. They should be contacted for support.
Phones & Mobile Devices
Mobile Device Support
IT offers support for iOS, Android and Windows phones, and tablets.
Voice Mail
Employees have a voicemail option with their phone.

For telephone assistance and repair employees should contact telecommunications or the IT Service Desk (859.622.3000).
Desk Phones (Skype for Business)
All university phones have been switched over to VoIP phones.
