Outlook 2013: Email Personal Folder File (pst)


This video discusses how to create a Personal Folder File in Outlook for EKU employees.

Create a pst file

  • Locate file tab in top left corner
  • Click Account Settings
  • Click Data Files
  • Click Add (Make sure data file, pst, is selected)
  • Click OK

This opens Create or Open Outlook Data File Menu

  • Create name for outlook file 
  • Click OK
  • On Account Setting Menu click Close

New pst file will appear on left side of screen.

To create folders for that file:

  • Open file and Right click
  • Choose new folder
  • Name folder and click OK
