CMS: Department Directory

View Content Type support article before creating a Department Directory

Fill in the information for the Department Directory. Email and last name are the only required fields. Some information will be automatically pushed from Banner. Directory entries will be ordered alphabetically.

  • Select Publish options at the top of the page, and select Published to go live with this specific entry
  • Promoted to front page pushes this entry to the front page of the Directory
  • Sticky at top of lists will make this entry the first on the Directory page

  • Select Preview to review before publishing
  • Select Save -the Directory entry will now be live and on the Directory page
  • Select Delete to eliminate this entry from the Directory

How to Edit a Directory Entry

  • Select Administer & Content
  • Select Content

  • Select type
  • Choose Department Directory in drop down menu
  • Select Filter to display all directory entries

  • Select the entry to edit 
  • Make changes
  • Select Save to save changes

How to Order/Prioritize a Directory Entry

  • Select Ordering Priority and the Priority option for each entry
