myMail: Cache Clear
Follow directions per browser currently being used.
► Chrome
- Leave the EKU Mymail page
- Visit Google or site that is unrelated to EKU
- In the top right corner of browser select button with 3 horizontal lines
- Select settings
- Navigate to the bottom and select “show advanced settings”
- Find the setting labeled Privacy
- Under “Privacy” select Clear Browsing Data
- Select the beginning of time in the drop down menu
- Check the first four boxes (Browsing history, Download history, Cookies and other site and plug-in data and Cached images and files
- Click Clear Browsing Data button
- Close Chrome
- Reopen Chrome
- Login to Student Email from EKU home page- DO NOT USE A FAVORITE SAVED IN THE BROWSER
► Mozilla Firefox
- Leave the EKU Mymail page
- Visit Google or site that is unrelated to EKU
- In the top right corner of browser select button with 3 horizontal lines
- Select Options with a gear icon
- The “options” menu will open in a new window
- Select Advanced settings with the gear in top right corner
- Click the “network” tab
- In Cached Web Content click Clear Now
- In Offline Web Content and User Data click Clear Now
- Click the Privacy option
- In History area select the blue link: Clear Your Recent History
- In the pop up window select Everything and check all categories except for Form & Search History
- Select Clear Now button
- Close Firefox
- Reopen Firefox
- Login to Student Email from EKU home page- DO NOT USE A FAVORITE SAVED IN THE BROWSER
► Internet Explorer
- Leave the EKU Mymail page
- Visit Google or site that is unrelated to EKU
- Select Tools in top right corner
- Select internet options rom drop down list
- Under Browsing History select Delete
- Select the first 4 options
- Select Delete
- Close Internet Explorer
- Reopen Internet Explorer
- Login to Student Email from EKU home page- DO NOT USE A FAVORITE SAVED IN THE BROWSER
