2019 Full-Time Faculty Rollout

Faculty rollout has begun! (Last Update: 2/1/19)

On Friday, Feb. 1st, faculty were sent an email inviting them to select a date to exchange their existing computer for a new one.

The calendar sign-up link is https://webapps.eku.edu/itdscalendar/ (on-campus only). Once on the page, select Laptop on the calendar drop down menu in the top right corner. When you select a date you will be asked to login with your EKU credentials in order to complete the reservation.

Feb. 4-8 is reserved for faculty who selected the Dell Tablet. Half of the exchange dates Feb. 11-15 are reserved for MacBook users.

Starting on Feb 11 and continuing throughout the semester, dates are available for all exchanges.

FACULTY ROLLOUT STEPS TO EXCHANGE YOUR OLD LAPTOP

Make a selection – COMPLETE - Online selection closed. Was available Nov. 12-Dec. 7, 2018. Equipment has been ordered and delivered based on faculty selections.
Sign Up to Exchange Your Old Laptop – Online calendar now open. https://webapps.eku.edu/itdscalendar/ (on-campus only)
Collect licensed software you have purchased– This is software you or your department purchased. Bring the media and the license with you when you drop off your computer. IT cannot legally install software without a valid license.
Drop off your current computer – Take to Combs 208 on your sign up date & time. IT will assist you in resetting your password when you drop off the unit and again when you pick up the unit. IT will pull data & configure the new machine, usually within 24 hours. If it is finished early, IT will call you.
Pick up the new unit – IT will assist you in resetting your password before leaving Combs with your new unit.

The computer selection form is now closed, but pictures and details are listed below. Units were available for review from Nov. 12, 2018 until Friday, Dec. 7, 2018 at the IT Service Desk in Combs 208. Online selection was also available during that time. Multiple emails inviting faculty to stop by and make a selection were sent and notifications were placed in EKU Today..

The Dell 5490 laptop will be assigned to those faculty who did not make a selection.
