Student Account Lifecycle
EKU provides an email account for each student.
When you apply to attend EKU, a student email account is created for you. It may take 24 hours from the date/time your application is entered into EKU's system before your account is ready to use.
If you leave EKU without graduating, your account will be removed after 180 days.
If you applied to EKU but were not accepted, your applicant account will be removed after 180 days.
EKU is maintaining your email account for "life" when you graduate. This service is provided through Microsoft, so EKU reserves the right to change this policy when required.
This policy has been in effect since 2009 and only with the @mymail.eku.edu email addresses.
