Employee Password Policy - February 9, 2018

On Feb 9, 2018 (4:30-5 p.m.), EKU IT will begin implementing an updated password policy for employee email accounts. This change will not affect you until the next time you change your email password.

Details of the policy:
• The new minimum length for your password is 10 characters (previous was 8).
• You can now keep the same password for 180 days (previous was 90).
• Your password must include a combination of ALL of the following:
o Uppercase letters.
o Lowercase letters.
o Numbers
o Special Characters - something that's not a letter or a number. Example:  !, $, #, % .
