Your email username (usually your last name, first initial) and password are your login information for many online resources such as logging into your work PC, Blackboard, EKU_SECURE Wi-Fi, and library databases. If you reset your password, it will be reset on all those accounts too.
Your EKU Direct User ID is your EKU ID number and the PIN is a 6 digit number.
To reset your email password that has not yet expired...select CTRL+ALT+DEL buttons simultaneously after logging into your work computer on a campus line and then select 'Change a password' or login to owa.eku.edu and select the wheel in the top right corner and choose 'Change password.'
To reset your email password after the password expired...Contact the IT Service Desk at 859.622.3000 to reset your password if you remember the answer to your security question.
If you don't remember the answer to your security question and need to reset your email password take a picture ID to the IT Service Desk in Combs 208 to reset it.
To reset the EKU Direct PIN, faculty contact the administrative assistant in your dean's office.
To reset the EKU Direct PIN, staff contact Human Resources at 859.622.8660. If you have forgotten your security question, you must go to the Human Resources office in Jones 203 with a picture ID to reset your PIN.
Do not share your password or PIN with anyone.
IT or any other reputable organization will NOT request your passwords or other personal information via email. Messages requesting such information are fraudulent and should be deleted.
