spam   Statement to Verizon Customers:

We have received reports from Verizon customers of spam emails sent from fake eku.edu addresses. These emails are not originating from Eastern Kentucky University. We have been in contact with Verizon engineers and determined the eku.edu domain is being spoofed (falsified) and these messages are sent through Verizon servers to their customers. Eastern Kentucky University has requested Verizon take further action to prevent these messages that are falsely using eku.edu addresses. Customers receiving these messages should report them as spam via the "Spam" button in the Verizon Webmail, or forward them as an attachment to spam@verizon which will allow Verizon to block them.
